happy father's day, daddy...

sometimes i think it's sad
that i never knew you
then i realize it's okay
because i'm all grown up now
having heated debates about fornication in the church
(some people call me pathetic, so it gets pretty funny)
something i know *you* know a lot about
because my christian family told me you were an upstanding
catholic family man in the community
who would never abandon his family or divorce. never.
and i so understand why you didn't claim me as your child
