What I would like to see as an alternative situation is one wherein young men with gay inclinations could have in a
NON-confrontational way , the prospect of perhaps having a relation with someone of the same gender, where there are expressions of nurturance toward their same gender partners could be extended *without* sex like activity .

If such individuals declined to accept such an alternative approach to relationships and desired to continue with sex like practices with those of the same gender , than they certainly should be still treated with earnest kindness and afforded civil liberties .

The important caveat that looms large is that no person--- regardless of whether or not they have heterosexual or homosexual orientation should flaunt any sexual proclivity in public. That is NOT to say that homosexual people are somehow more given to flaunting sexual proclivities in public ; I maintain that it is probably a safe wager that there are more heterosexuals and bi people given to that sort of behavior . However, I want to highlight that caveat against sexuality being flaunted by persons of any sexual orientation .

It is repugnant how over the last 15 or so years , people are more and more given to via media or just when out and about given to flaunting sexuality for shock than in most past recorded eras .
