Now that we are frightened and hankering for the golden time we've lost, we're more easily plied - not only by advertisers. We'll tend to view anything that moneyfuckers say with less scrutiny and more hurried acceptance, as a collective. As a group, we're very, very, very stupid, like, *crazy* stupid. -

Because consequences for questioning it or getting out of line generally become more onerous every year.
