Yes, this is true and it wasn't a republican who said it. Democrats have now admitted that if you are from Michigan or Florida you are only 1/2 of a person. Personally, I think this is way too generous and too narrow. We should include all democrats and make them 1/4 people:-) There vote in the national election should be pro rated accordingly.

actually, the district I live in has gone democratic for years. I am not a republican either. At least democrats tell you upfront they will steal from you to give to the poor. Republicans pretend to be for less government and lower taxes, then behave like democrats once elected. -

I don't consider Indiana to be the armpit of america.

But I have lived in many places, including Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio and Maryland. All have strengths and weaknesses, but where I live it is very beautiful. I see you are in Chicago. Not too far away from the "armpit". Member of Jeremiah Wrights Church? -
