Yes, indeed it is. Not only a good cigar with a glass of cognac, but a cigar that has some sprinkles of cognac in the wrapping or tobacco leaves .

Y-bor city , near Tampa, has some great cigars . One of the few places in Tampa I can stand ! I had a quite good cigar there the night in the mid to late 1990's that Ken and Deanna had a shindig at an art gallery there . My friend James from Jacksonville and I showed up . He later procured a cigar as a gift . They had told me of it the night before. Ken was an artist who painted pictures of jazz musicians on the outside of suitcases !.

His girlfriend Deanna was rather cute and strange . She had kind of a French Bob haircut rounded in a certain way on one side . She was a pale rather ethereal brunette , who I met in a cafe in Ybor , along with her boyfriend . She told me that her boyfriend was a werewolf and she was a moon goddess . He was a tall bony fellow ith angular sideburns who had a hairdo like a 1950's Rockabilly singer --kind of like a flattop .

A rather anomalous couple . I just hope they weren't into anything kinky with each other or other people. They seemed somewhat low key for a young couple of the mid to late 1990's. . Deanna was cute, but one thing I found quite disconcerting was the night of the art showing that I went to , Deanna showed me a tattoo that she had on her calf...(she may have had on capri pants) ..and the tatttoos showed a female devil on one side of her calf and a female angel on the other side of her calf . Makes me worry .
But back to the main subject .

Yes, Scotch is good . An Scotsman I met in Lakeland, back in 2004 , recommended Dalwinny . I later tried it . Damn good tastin stuff . Scorseby is good too . But I've liked Johnny Walker Black for years .
